It's a very nifty concept but unfortunately, I can't take credit for coming up with it. I saw it somewhere a while ago and decided to give making my own a try when I recently picked up two new mid-day walks.
I took some pics today of the leash in action and decided to post them here instead of trying to explain how it works.
I will be using this leash for all clients who have 2 dogs that need walking at the same time.
If you can answer 'yes' to any of these questions, then you might need to get one!
1. When you walk two dogs at once, have you ever found yourself with a burn from those retractable leashes? I have!
2. Have you ever had to continually switch hands behind your back, over your head, or under your legs from 2 dogs walking in all different directions? I surely have!!
3. Have you needed to carry water on the walk but can't find a place to put it b/c you've got TWO leashes in your hand? Yep!!!
4. Now to the nitty gritty!! Have you needed to use the poop bags to pick up the poop, but find it difficult holding the leashes in one hand while the dogs try to take off? Of course!
Well, this contraption is for YOU! and guess what!! I can make it for you for only $15.
The one you see in the photos is plain Jane red with no flare whatsoever. It is basically 2 strips of durable nylon webbing, a D ring, and 2 swivel clips carefully sewn together to stand the test of time. I have red and black nylon at present.

I can say without hesitation that your dog walking experience will be forever changed if you have 2 dogs! You'll enjoy it a million times more!
